Holiday Luncheon
Join fellow members for our festive annual Holiday Luncheon at the Colonial Inn at 48 Monument Square in Concord. The historic Inn will be beautifully decorated for the holidays. Details on reservations, menu, and payment to follow. We will be taking a group photo and it’s always a great time!

We will be meeting at the Westford Museum at 10am to watch selected YouTube gardening movies. Interested and want to discuss a certain subject? Let us know. There will be plenty of popcorn, but bring your own drink!
Discovering New England Stone Walls
You are in for a special treat! We will meet at the Westford Museum at
10am and Kevin Gardner, award winning public radio producer, author, and tradesman will talk about the history and significance of New England stone walls. During the presentation, he will amazingly build a miniature stone wall! Open to the public and bring your own drink.
Art in Bloom with Themla Shoneman
Our favorite guest is back, so you don’t want to miss this program! We will
meet at the Westford Museum at 10am. Thelma will create a floral arrangement and choose a container that interprets a painting. Do we have an artist member, who would like to offer their painting? Bring your own drink!
Living with Wildlife in Your Yard
We will meet at the Westford Museum at 10am . Our guest speaker from the Mass Audubon Society at Drumlin Farms will talk about peacefully co-existing with wildlife common to Westford, that have frustrated all of us gardeners! Open to prospective members. Bring your own drink!
Spectacular Container Gardens
We will be meeting at Kimball Farm at 10am for a private tour with Kimball’s head gardener. We will learn the secrets of how to create and maintain eye catching container and border flower gardens. Ice cream, anyone?
Adventures in Salem, MA
Another Adventure…. We will tour both the historic gardens of the Ropes Mansion (318 Essex Street) and the House of Seven Gables (115 Derby Street) in Salem. Lunch will follow at Turner Seafood. Details on times, cost, and carpooling will follow.
Flower & Leaf Printing
We will meet at Good Pickin’ Farm at 5 Gould Road at 10am. Come get to know the Farm! We will go into the field to gather flowers and leaves and then try a new printing technique. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear and bring your own drink for some creative ideas!
Cost is $25 pp.
Fall Foliage Cruise
(Rain date is Monday, October 19)
We will be taking the 11 AM Portsmouth Harbor cruise up the Pisquataqua River to the Cocheco River, and into downtown Dover. The weather looks great, the foliage will be beautiful and we may even see a bald eagle! The cruise is one and a half hours.
Bring a sandwich ( the boat has drinks) and meet at CVS on route 110 at 8:50, leaving at 9 AM. Our meeting place is close to route 110.
The cost is $38 for an adult and $35 for seniors plus tax. You can pay that morning.

Amy’s Zinnia Seed Saving Workshop
Join me for a simple, hands-on workshop where we’ll collect and save seeds from my zinnia patch.
All you need to bring:
A pair of scissors
A paper bag
We’ll cut, dry, and gather seeds together — then you can take some home to grow next spring. It’s a fun way to share in the cycle of our gardens, and to carry this season’s blooms into the next.
